Disposable face masks

Face masks made by FERMAMED guarantee top quality. We provide both medical Type I face masks for environments with harmful airborne particles and medical Type II and Type IIR face masks as personal protective equipment (PPE) items, e.g. in healthcare. These medical masks have a bacterial filtering capacity (BFE) of at least 95 %, and thus offer optimal protection.

Protection class

Type I face masks are designed for environments with airborne harmful particles. Medical Type I face masks provide > 95% protection against particles larger than 0.3 μm. The pleats in the mask allow the wearer to adjust the mask to the shape of the face so that both mouth and nose are covered. The masks are attached to the head by means of elastic ear loops. The masks can be used in environments in which hazardous substances such as viruses, bacteria, etc. are present.

Materials

We mainly use materials made in Europe. To assure product quality we carefully select our suppliers and thoroughly inspect the incoming materials. The three-layer material consists of a melt-blown filter sandwiched between non-woven fabrics.
